I guess I should have wash these better then I did, being they are still dirty but a lot cleaner then when I bought them. And speaking of that I bought these at an estate sale, & was there when these were brought down from the rafters these were wrapped in newspaper from 1974. And going by most everything else in this sale, that was the last time they seen the light. I have not seen or felt any chips but there are some light scratches but not real bad. Even though the reference book states this size plate can be 1 of 3 plates. These can be salad , cream soup liners or a mayo liner plate, so you be the judge.
