Four gauges slot are provided in 1mm,2mm,3mm,4mm. The 1mm slot works for extra narrow frets, likes ukuleles; The 2mm slot works for all standard guitars, bass, banjo, mandolin, box guitars; The 3mm,4mm slot works for jumbo frets. That means it'll work on most stringed instruments.
The hand shank is made of solid wood: excellent grip and smooth operation.
Diamond abrasive way to coarse for this application, use fret erasers makes the frets as smooth as buttery.

PLEASE READ THESE BEFORE USE THIS FILE:
1.Please choose the appropriate grooves for your frets. Neither too big nor too small.
Usually the small slot is use for Ukulele fret.
Medium slot is use for normal Guitar/Bass fret which for most regular use.
Large slot is use for Jumbo frets.
2.Please don't put too much pressure on this fret file while using because this file is a little bit aggressive, it is super easy to get too much material off. Use it slowly and steady will get a better results.
3.This is a fret crowning file, can not use for other purpose.
