much!
From my personal collection, is a wonderful example of a rare, natural, color change garnet from Tanzania.
The stone is a faceted emerald cut, measures 8 mm long x 6 mm wide x 4.5 mm deep and weighs 2.14 carats. The stone
changes from
red to green under LED and incandescent lighting but has various color changes under other lighting.
The garnet is transparent and almost eye clean to the naked, unaided eye. I would grade it as SI clarity. It has no certificate but was bought from a reputable dealer who purchased the material directly from the mine and cut it himself. The cut is good with no windowing.

It is in very good condition. There is a possible, small nick on the underside but it may be an interior inclusion as I can't feel it with my fingernail. I have been collecting rare gemstones for over 40 years and my gem drawers are overflowing. I am selling a few to make a little room.
